Greater Oregon STEM will lead us on an exploration of bears around the world, how they live and ways they interact with humans. Presentation for all ages, with an activity geared towards 2nd – 5th graders. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Inspired by this year’s Fishtrap Reads book, “The Bear” by Andrew Krivak (adult novel). For companion books exploring similar themes for younger readers, check out “Over and Under the Snow,” by Kate Messner, and “My Side of the Mountain”, by Jean Craighead George.
